Description of the section

This section presents indicators related to foreign trade, detailing the values and quantities of imports and exports of the crop in a time series, as well as their destination or origin, as appropriate.

Base indicators

Value of imports and value of exports : Time series of the value of crop imports relative to the value of exports. Annual aggregate values for all countries of destination/origin as appropriate.
Quantity of imports and quantity of exports: Time series of the quantity of imports of the crop relative to the quantity of exports. Annual aggregate values for all countries of destination/origin as appropriate.

Estimated indicators

Share of imports and exports of the crop in the total value of imports and exports of food and beverages (%).
Share of imports and exports of the crop in the total value of imports and exports of food and beverages (primary) (%).
Share of imports and exports of the crop in the total value of imports and exports of roots and tubers (%).
Annual Growth: Indicator of the percentage variation of imports and exports by crop with respect to the previous year.

10-year moving average: 10-year observation indicator of imports and exports. Construction of a moving indicator to monitor the average of imports and exports by crop.
